Entry to room was a bit long for me as an 89 year old. All else was acceptable.

Property has been here a long time and it shows. However if you are going to Mayo Clinic the go kart service back and forth is really first right. Make sure that you reserve directly with Marriott.com and not some outside group that loves to take your money..
My wife had an appointment at the Mayo Clinic on Monday we checked in Sunday afternoon the room was clean and cool. They even gave us a late check out because we didn’t know how long we would be at the clinic and if we would need the room for that night also, we didn’t but it was nice to know we had it if we needed it.

Exceptional Service, Very Friendly and Professional Staff. Someone was always at the front desk to assist the customers with a friendly smile and greeting, meals were hot and hardy. Staff was able to provide locations of local entertainment. Today I am awarding two Exceptional employees at Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix Desert View: Sarah and Dana with an "Atta Boys". A job well done!
The staff did everything to make my stay pleasant especially Sarah at the front desk. She was exceptional. I enjoyed my stay.
Following a long day and painful procedure at the Mayo, hotel staff understood our need for early check in and ensured we were given access to our room early. We hadn't eaten all day so we had dinner that evening at the hotel dining room, food and service were adequate. We will continue to stay at this hotel when we have appointments at the Mayo.
Nothing special about hotel. Bed would benefit from a new better quality mattress. In room lightbulb on side of bed burned out. People not really inspecting room after serviced. General hotel carpet in placed worn and dirty. Breakfast very limited compared to what Residents Inns use to have. Food items not kept refresh decaf coffee urn empty, hard boiled eggs empty, etc.
Different smell in the room.
Everyone is kind and caring. They look out for their guests.
