Felt like home. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was amazing. It was like a small apartment with everything you needed. A great heating and air conditioning system and plenty of water pressure in the shower. A great place to stay in beautiful Alexandria.
We have been visiting our son in Alexandria for several years and Residence Inn on Duke Street is the place we stay. the staff are friendly, greet us when coming/going and willing to do whatever to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. They serve one of the best complimentary free breakfasts. The food is well presented, staff very accommodating and the setting is spacious and clean. The location is good for us, the shuttle service is a plus.
Running toilets are a no no.

The Residence Inn is a lovely, immaculately clean hotel with full kitchen, a comfy bed and lovely bath products! I have been a Bonvoy member for several years and stay at a Residence Inn when I travel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ample and delicious.
