As Marriot reward member I booked the UNC Charlotte Marriot because of the reasonable price and because it was close to the activities in which I would be engaging for the weekend. Upon arrival I was very impressed. The hotel is beautiful, The decor, its gym and pool and outdoor spaces with comfortable seating and fire pits, it easily ranks as high or better when compared to Four Season or Lowes Hotels. The service from check in to the restaurant bar was outstanding. I use to stay in Airbnbs in Charlotte, but this experience will have me returning to this location from now on when I visit family.
I am a tough one to please but I have to say from meeting the gentleman that valet parked my car, the lady at the front desk that manage to find me a toothbrush and toothpaste because I left mine home to the lady at checkout. Everyone was professional and very nice. The room was spotless. I enjoyed my stay and will be returning. The employees here go above and beyond to please their customers.
