We found the Super 8 in Elk City Okay very disappointing. The staff was very nice and courteous. The room was relatively clean. We were provided one washcloth and towel for the two of us in the double bed room. Had to ask for a second. We booked and prepaid on line which stated breakfast included. No breakfast at all just coffee. Also no ice machine and only one small cart to use to carry luggage. The day desk clerk did give us ice for our water cups. Then we were still charged as we would with breakfast. Not fair. Unacceptable.
The room was not cleaned, the sheets were dingy and stained, the bathroom was crusty, with peeling paint, stained and crumbling grout. I would not recommend this place.
When I called they said breakfast was included. Nope, no breakfast. No ice, we had to go get some air fresher cause the room stunk. We had to change keys every time we left the room (times) was not a pleasant stay.
Great place to stop on long trip. Easy on and off the interstate we access to classic Route 66.
