Why would the cleaning lady not notice that a chunk of wood was sticking out of the frame and when you sat on the corner, it went down floor was not clean. Room was not dusted. Window is so dirty. You can’t see out of it would not stay here again.
The old best western remodel is nothing more than slapping lipstick on a pig, paid over $200 and iron was missing from room, TV was in and out, shampoo and conditioner were empty, no vent fan in bathroom, pool was cold and more. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
Overall state of disrepair. Toilet didn't shut off, phone didn't work at all, screaming baby next door all day and night, shower has holes in the surround near faucet, light fixtures were dusty, TV picturewasdistorted on every channel and we paid twice as much as any other motel between south Florida and Minnesota!
I woke up at 3am to the most atrocious sewer smell in our room. Reported it to the front desk in the morning and the lady did nothing but write down what I said. No offer to refund or discount our stay. Another person in our party had a leaking ceiling and nothing was done about that either. The maintenance person was called and he said he wasn't working and not to call him. There was no offer to have the person move to another room or a refund/discount for that person either. The eggs and sausage offered were not only unappealing to the eye but taste was poor as well. We didn't have high expectations but this was worse than we could imagine. There were stains on the towels and one of the bed covers but that was honestly the least of our problems.
