Great place to stay.

This is an excellent hotel. This is how all hotels should be. Very impressive!

Excellent Experience.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston was the place of our family reunion. The closeness to the airport was great, the staff were kind and helpful and the rooms were large and clean. The issues were the safe in the room was locked and there was no way for maintenance to unlock it without sawing off the door. We asked for several things at the front desk and were told they would have them sent up, but things never came. To speak to housekeeping, you had to speak to an AI person; however, when we asked, she did send someone up. The copy machine in the lobby didn't work. Even though there is a coffee maker in your room, it would have been nice to have coffee available in the lobby. Other than these minor things, I would stay there again. Everyone was very nice and would stop and have a conversation. The breakfast was good. The happy hour was okay.

Considering the size of the facility that elevator should have been repaired within twenty four hours even if on weekends and holidays.

This facility was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good and the dining room was also very good. Location was close to lots of restaurants and other places.

Rooms were not vacuumed, pillow cases and glassware were not in the room upon our arrival. The second day still didn’t have pillowcases or glassware. Had to go to desk and ask twice. Hotel kept billing my credit cards (so I had duplicate billings during the visit. Staff were not helpful in explaining why I had double charges just kept telling me they couldn’t help me or explain except keep telling me I had booked through a third party vendor so it was not their responsibility to help me. One person named Valerie trying very hard to help when asked the rest were not helpful. The house keeping staff were very nice but kept missing things when cleaning the room. I expected more as I have stayed in many of your hotel. I will not come back to this one.

I have always used this hotel for my family needs. I have used it for birthday celebrations, concert stays and anniversary celebrations. I am always pleased.

We try to stay here when we come to Charleston and we have never been disappointed.

When I booked the reservation I was confirmed to have a room with mobility handicap access for wheelchair instead was provided with a visual and hearing impairment room Booked this hotel specifically because they confirmed they could provide and did not and then showed no concern or offered no options. Unsafe experience for my paraplegic guest. Another but less important of course issue was cold showers minimal lukewarm water.

The property is under very substantial renovation. Notwithstanding, the room I was assigned was newly redone. Fit and finish within the room was average, with rather cheap furnishings and haphazard installation of room trim and electrical outlets. The hair dryer was an abomination, with sticky "stuff" of an unknown nature on every inch of it (needs cleaning). One of the telephones provided an incredibly static experience and when calling the front desk it offered an automated response which did not understand what I was saying. It did state, however, that it would have someone call me back.. but that never happened. The second phone did not work at all (no dial tone). Every couple of minutes, powered installations on the roof outside my room's window would turn on making for a very noisy environment. They disturbed my sleep. Finally, the covers provided for the coffee cups can't be used in that they don't fit the cups.
