DoubleTree by Hilton Pomona
The cool thing about DoubleTree by Hilton Pomona is that it offers a variety of amenities including a bar/lounge, gym, pool, restaurant, and free WiFi/internet access.
Actually, I would rate it between Average and Good. It's probably more fairly rated as "Good" but that's not an option. It's not very good however. The hotel lobby is at the west end of the long rectangular building. However, the first entrance you encounter leads to an elevator bay and entrance to the Vita Restaurant (which is a fine restaurant by the way). Although upon further reflection you can see the "main" entrance is further down the parking lot under a covered entry way, one would think you can enter the building and access lobby from the east entrance. There are no signs to direct check ins or guest registrations to enter at the west end of the property. So, I walked, slowly as I was checking in my 90 year old mother, from the Vita Restaurant side of the building to the west end, thinking we'd find the lobby. The A/C was either off or turned up high as it was pretty warm walking through the hallways. We arrive at the west end elevator bay and discovered it's out of service. Stairs are not an option for my 90 year old mother and so we walked all the way back to the Vita lobby, took that elevator to the appropriate floor so she could check in. The room, it was right above the lobby on the 3rd floor. Since the elevator located at the lobby was out of order, we had to walk back to the Vita lobby, take the elevator to the 3rd floor and then walk all the way back to the west end to her room. Poor woman was exhausted. Some simple signs at the Vita lobby seem like an inexpensive solution that could avoid a lot aggravation and exhaustion for my mother.

Expedia Group verifies all reviews to ensure that the customer has indeed booked on our site. To encourage customers to submit their reviews, we send an email containing a link to evaluate the hotel to which we sometimes attach a reduction or Expedia Rewards voucher to use on a future trip. We post all reviews whether they are positive or negative, to the extent that they respect our content directives. This monitoring is automated. Any rejection is manually checked and, if maintained, notified to the reviewer by email with reasons. We do not otherwise process changes, nor reviewer contact.
