We had a wonderful stay at the Marriott in Old City and are so grateful for the warm hospitality we received. After a frightening experience at a nearby Airbnb causing us to leave immediately, we attempted to make a same day reservation here and were so relieved to find the Marriott had a room available despite hosting multiple weddings that weekend. The room was spotless, comfortable and their pet friendly policy made it possible for us to bring our small dog, an unexpected but much appreciated bonus. The location was ideal, with all of Old City’s amenities just steps away, including excellent restaurants, cafes, bars and historic sites, but the hotel itself is tucked away on a quiet, tree lined block that was perfect for an evening stroll or walking our dog. Best of all, every staff member we encountered was super kind, attentive and genuinely helpful. Thank you, Marriott Old City, for saving both the day and our vacation! We will absolutely be returning and next time, it will be for our entire stay!
As a Marriott member we have visited many Marriott hotels all over the world. Next to the Marco Island Florida location this is my new favorite. Beautiful atrium, spacious rooms with many amenities. Reasonably priced. Looking forward to staying here again.
Not staying longer, my family and I enjoyed our stay unfortunately we only stayed for one night, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful the room was comfortable and clean the location was perfect, the only negative thing I can say is the Air conditioner was not working in the hallways and it seemed like the heater was on instead of the AC and the hallway from my room to the elevator was unbelievable hot, other than that most definitely well return to beautiful Philadelphia and I will be staying at the Marriott Old City again.
Guest room was large, well appointed, clean with a very comfortable bed. The common rooms are beautiful sleek, modern. The staff was uniformly friendly and courteous. Sarah at checkout was especially great.
There are no handholds anywhere in the bathroom including the shower or walls. Difficult to avoid slipping or falling. I don’t understand how you can rent such an unsafe room. how.
The hotel is older but is clean and the service and staff were very nice and tried to be helpful. The towels and the soap could be better quality, my lowest review would be in regard to the quality of the bed linens and mattresses very uncomfortable, need an upgrade.
