Hotel is very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Bus service to airport is perfect. We used this hotel dozens of times and when we flown from other airports we are not as happy with the hotels we find there.

I have been very happy with every aspect of my stay at the Hampton Inn Newark Airport. The staff, my accommodations were both great. I do have two suggestions: I wish there was a simple in hotel option for a meal besides breakfast. When you are stranded in the middle of a trip, as I was, it is difficult to move around. I wish that Hilton/Hampton Inn did not use 3rd party reservations agents. I do not have the confidence that I am dealing with a reputable agency.
The experience was like the Good, the Bad, the Ugly. The good was breakfast and the shuttle drivers, particularly the driver that took us to the airport. The bad was trying to get help from the Hampton and Delta on a room deal that was supposed to cost $36 dollars instead of $300. I was directed in circles with neither entity claiming any responsibility. The ugly was the room carpet. I had on socks that became wet and dirty after walking on the rug. I would guess the room had mold, which I seemed to smell. Being so close to water it may be unavoidable, but it was unpleasant.
