The hotel has seen better days from a physical standpoint, but the essentials, confortable bed, good shower and friendly staff are in place.
We stayed at this hotel twice in a four day period. Had we not had a pre paid reservation, we would not have stayed the second time. We dealt with four front desk clerks over this time and only one had half a clue as to what they were doing. We have stayed at HIE numerous times over the years but I think this will be the last. Plus, your breakfast of cheese omelets and turkey sausage ducks. How about just some scrambled eggs and bacon?.
