Comfort Suites Southport offers a variety of amenities including parking, an elevator, a gym, a pool, a spa, WiFi/internet, laundry facilities, non-smoking rooms, breakfast, air conditioning, a 24/7 front desk, a business center, a spa tub, and meeting rooms.
The room as well as the common are were clean and tidy. The room was well furnished with typical low end hotel furniture. The sofa was predictably uncomfortable but suitable for a short stay. The refrigerator was completely iced up and therefore not cool at all. The bathroom was roomy and all the towels we required. Overall: the room was better than some but was certainly well used. New bedding and carpet seems to be needed to make the place more welcoming and comfortable. The sofa was not in front of the TV so it was not very comfortable to watch it unless you were in bed. The hotel was not glamorous or plush but it was passable. We will try not to stay here again. The staff was lovely and friendly and wanting to please. That counts for a lot!
We had a pleasant stay at Comfort Suites while visiting with family in Greenwood (south of Indianapolis). The hotel was clean, our room was spacious, breakfast was hot and the staff was friendly (even as they hosted a bus load of teenagers who were in town for a conference!).
Hotel was comfortable and clean. Building needed a few repairs and improvements ceilings and doors. Otherwise very nice. Good breakfast.
