Over was very nice and staff was great.
My husband and I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Eastgate and were very pleased. The rooms are clean with lots of bathroom counter space and good water pressure. The gym has very good equipment and is very clean. All that aside, the best part of our stay was the staff… every one of them greeted you with a smile and a hello and “is everything okay with your stay?” Our cleaning lady Destiny went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend and would stay there again.
I think it's a bit odd that the elevators are not in the main lobby. You need a bit of a walk to get to them. The room looks nice but then the bathroom shows how old it is.The thermostat in my room was set to heat and I was unable to change it to cool. The temp in the room was about 75 degrees which is too hot for me to sleep in.
Asked for handicap assessable room. Room on floor four as far from elevator as it could be. No handicap parking close to lobby. Could not bathe because could not lift leg over tub which is why we asked for shower. Told it was because went thru booking .com but when you Google the hotel that is the number that answers. Was told they had nothing to replace with and nothing could do because did not talk to hotel directly. Will never use that hotel again and will let everyone I know and Facebook about the service.
