Great atmosphere, staff; especially DJ, room, location and breakfast. If needed, I will stay at Wingate by Wyndham West Monroe. DJ was very accommodating in my arrival and departure. He was very professional while making me feel welcome. Great job DJ 😊.

The room assigned was not ready upon arrival. The desk attendant was dressed poorly. The water was smelly. the floors were dirty. The toilet paper holder was not there. We had to put the paper on the bath tub.
Me and my wife were not happy with this hotel,first off the bed was super hard, secondly the pillows were so uncomfortable and small,then got ready to take a shower there was no soap in the shower and the A/C didn’t work properly it was hot off and on threw the night so we were not happy at all,want be going back.

We unpacked and got ready to relax when we discovered there was no hot water. The receptionist agreed that this was the part of the hotel that had that problem and we were moved to another room. The water came out brown and the receptionist agreed that the water in the area was not good. While my wife bathed, three roaches appeared and I caught one and handed it in to the receptionist so there was no suggestion that we were the complaining types. This is not what I expect for $157 a night. The toilet seat was broken and the pan had not been cleaned.
The hotel was alright. However, the main reason I chose it was the gym, pool and breakfast. The pool was being renovated, the gym was being renovated. The breakfast was Ok. Room was average a little run down.
