For a first time in a hotel room, this is a very homey experience and comfortable. You don't hear other people in other rooms. Very polite staff and great location around restaurants. Five stars, will come back again some time for sure.

Will definitly pick a different room. Ours was near an exit door and the parking lot outside the window. Pretty noisy.

This was undoubtedly a fine hotel in its day, but the place has been left to ruination: smashed and taped window at front entrance, broken luggage carts, moldy and damaged lampshades in the room, peeling wall paper, stained and grubby looking bathtub and shower. The pool was wonderful, but pool area also in a dilapidated state. The courtyard was weedy and abandoned. It's too bad with some care, could be quite a lovely place to stay. Wyndham needs to get its act together in Thunder Bay!
I would not ever stay in this hotel absolutely filthy run down broken windows. Smelly dirty rugs mold I am requesting. Refund.
