I’m only here one night. The lady at the desk is very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. I am very pleased with this motel.
The staff from front end to kitchen and housekeeping was the best I have experienced in a long time. Room was in top shape and the mattress I wanted to bring home, first time in a hotel stay that I was able to have a good nights sleep. Will be staying there next time we are visiting. Certainly will also recommend you to friends and family. We had a service dog with us and she liked it to. Our stay was short but very pleasant. Kudos to everyone. Thank you.
The hotel seems to be undergoing renovations at this time (June 2025) so there are things that are not great, but there are some positives. Lots of cleaning and renovation means that the hotel looks like a construction zone in places. The gym has some good equipment, but most of it is either off limits or out of order and all of it requires a lot of work to bring them into acceptable condition. The pool looked good, but the hot tub was overchlorinated; maybe for good reason. I saw a woman fully clothed in the hot tub, even though there was a sign saying it was not allowed. The staff was pleasant and attentive. They did their best to ensure the room and the stay was up to standards. There was a garbage can outside the room to catch watch because the roof leaked when it rained. The room itself was nice. Clean, bed was comfortable. The only complaint was that there was no diverter for the shower/tub. The water came from the shower head and not from the spout. Took a while to fill the tub for a bath. The morning breakfast was simple fare, but was typical for a hotel free breakfast. I'm not sure they should be charging full rates for the hotel since it is under renovation. Oh, there is no elevator, so if you cannot carry your luggage up stairs, make sure you ask for a main floor room. So, a mixed review. I think they are trying their best to make it a positive experience, but perhaps they needed to rethink how they conducted the renovations in the wake of still having customers.
