The Vaquero Motel offers parking, an elevator, WiFi/Internet, pet-friendly rooms, non-smoking rooms, air conditioning, and a kitchen.
Our cabin was very comfortable and convenient to downtown Bandera. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful. We will stay here again when we come back.
The location is great and the cabins themselves are very nice and the management was nice, but: 1. We could never get the TV to work. Management came and finally got it to work but we never could. All we wanted was the evening news. It badly needs instructions. 2. Coffee maker was broken and never worked. 3. One of the three light bulbs in the ceiling fixture was out so the lighting was bad. 4. There was only one chair for two people' 5. It badly needed a reading lamp. 6. Microwave needed instructions. 7. The bed was so high my elderly wife had to request a stool. 8. Considering all of the above, we feel it was over priced. (we paid about $450 for two nights).
This place is quiet, clean, within walking distance of the bustling little quaint town! We loved the atmosphere at the hotel. They had firepits for each cabin, horse shoes, corn hole set up and a huge BBQ gazebo. Five stars is under rating it!
Our room and stay were excellent in every way. Thank you to Tracy for host. A fun place to visit.
