Fairmont Royal York is a beautiful historic Hotel. We were in town for a convention, a few hotels on the list, Fairmont Royal York was our choice hotel. We upgraded to Luxury Room, although for upgrade not sure what we got. I did ask at front desk based on premium price, was told renovated room was the upgrade. Still not sure that is what I paid for, thought slightly bigger than a standard room and a higher floor, we were on 3rd, was the reason to upgrade to luxury room. That is what website said. Still not sure what I upgraded to, but again Hotel is really beautiful and the location to convention centre, is perfect.

Really enjoyed all. Used a three wheel scooter. Spent afternoon in the bar, staff was excellent, took marvelous care of us and scooter too. Restaurant's breakfast was incredible. GF loved her 'Healthy Breakfast' and my three eggs with trout and all was terrific! Took in two Blue Jays Games.
