Fairmont Royal York

Check in was easy friendly and efficient. The hotel was clean as was our room. Our room was quiet although the cooling system fan was a bit noisy. We enjoyed the Nespresso coffee, a treat for us! Thank you 😊.

Very happy with our visit. Missing our flight, we were pleased to find shelter immediately at the Fairmont Royal York! My husband was familiar with the hotel having stayed there often 50 years ago while employed by the Government of Ontario. I had never been to the hotel, but I most certainly will again should the occasion arise. Our room was spotless and luxurious. The three restaurants we ate in offered delicious food and excellent service. I look forward someday to enjoying High Tea at the Royal York! All in all, a lovely, albeit unexpected experience.

Great service, nice hotel.

Hotel was stunning. The special check in for staying in a gold room looked so amazing, room was so clean and very nice, great view, room service was excellent, staff were beyond amazing. Breakfast was very nice and so were the evening desserts. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The hotel lobby and restaurant are very luxurious, the rooms are older and outdated but decent and seemed to be clean and it was quiet. Fridge was not provided without requesting one, which is pretty ridiculous. The location is excellent, right across from Union Station and connected to the PATH below, easy to travel to and from and easy access to the free airport shuttle. Overall a good stay!

It was an overall great experience. The location is close to all types of transit restaurants bars, CN Tower, Rogers Center, Scotiabank. You really can’t have a better location. The rooms were clean, slightly renovated. It’s not a huge room, but the beds were super comfortable. There’s really nothing to complain about. I would go back in a heartbeat.

No hot water for my shower at 5:00.

I spoke to three housekeepers and their supervizer asking for more small glass bottles of water. Not one of them told me that it would cost me $6.50 a bottle. I called the desk when we returned from the wedding as I wanted more water. I was told then that I would need to pay for it. I asked why I could make coffee Sat. morning in my room but not Sunday morning and the gentleman said I could if I paid for the water. Im not talking about the tetra packs of spring wated, just the little glass jars of drinking water. If the housekeepers had informed me of the charge, I would have purchased water at Shoppers Drug mart. Thx Sandi.

Only one complaint The shelf over the sink in the bathroom extends out to far. I hit my forehead on it, as I was brushing my teeth, causing a small cut.

Can tell the Updates but still have charm and elegance.
