I have traveled many times to many places and the Ayres Lodge Alpine is one of the best values I can remember. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and the entire facility was in near perfect repair. The staff was helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place and would stay there again.

We always stay here when visiting Viejas Casino and Outlet Mall. Very reasonable rates and FREE breakfast. They even have free shuttle to the casino and mall.
We have been to this hotel three times now. Nov. 2024 when my dad was in the hospital, Dec. 2024 when my dad passed away and now Aug 2025 when we had to come over due to an emergency with my mom. All three times it has been a place we can go back to and relax.
Room clean, simple, but well supplied. Sofa bed comfortable. Relaxing, quiet and would recommend for getting away from the busy city. Good breakfast, AND DELICIOUS FRESH BAKED COOKIES in the evening! Staff very thoughtful and helpful. Will be returning in the future. Thank you, Ayers, for the hospitality! 😃.
The lodge is quiet, pretty nice, but there are a few concerns: no hand soap for the sinks to wash your hands, only bodywash, shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower that have been used by others as they are not full/new bottles, bathroom smelled like sewer/dirty body oder, floor dirty on bare feet (was not mopped), breakfast is OK, but needs more diabetic options.
Room was clean and staff was pleasant.
The room was very clean, the mattress and pillows were probably the best I have ever had in a hotel. The breakfast was really good. It was a really nice place to stay and I will definitely stay there again.
