The cool thing about Heritage Inn Express Chico is that it offers a variety of amenities including parking, an outdoor pool, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a 24/7 front desk.
The room I stayed in was not great. The bed seems to be about 40 years old, as well as the bedding. The cable didn’t work but the worst part was the front door didn’t close all the way and there was a large gap around the door. I’m not sure if the room wasn’t insulated but I could hear people talking and coming and going all night long as though they were right outside of my door. I did not sleep at all the night I stayed there due to how loud it was all night long. The staff was nice enough but the stay for the purpose of getting a decent nights rest did not happen. I hope something can be done about the people traffic and noise and disturbances at that hotel.
