Great place to stay.
This was our boys (ages 8 and 4) first time to the beach. The view was awesome! We were on the 7th floor. The staff was great! Nicole made sure everything was perfect for us especially our boys. Rooms were clean and linen was always available. We are planning on making this hotel part of our annual tradition.
From the text message we received the morning of our arrival until we departed we were treated like we were the most important guests there. The check in people made us feel right at home and were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had a couple of questions once we got to the room and the staff answered them in such a friendly and helpful way. We needed some extra linen. We told the front desk and in just a few minutes the lady was at our door and she had a big smile and was so friendly. When we checked out the process was easy and they thanked us for choosing to stay with them. If we could wrap up our experience in a few words is would be FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, and EFFICIENT! Thank you Golden Sands for making our stay so wonderful!

This is our to go place at Carolina Beach.
We have stayed at this hotel a lot but didn't get to go last year. The renovations are so beautiful and the staff (as always) exceptionally nice. We wouldn't want to ever stay anywhere else at Carolina Beach.
