I came for a staycation as I live in Dickinson. I asked for a simple room upgrade and it was not a problem if it was not available and the front desk put me in the ambassador suite. For anyone who does not know this is the sweet right below the presidential suite. This upgrade was not only amazing, but it was also a first time experience. I would like to thank greatly all of the staff and most of all Tillman Fertitta for understanding what a real amazing away from home experience is. Thank you again San Luis I will be rebooking for my next staycation before winter time. Thank you again John Conner.

Good marks across the board. I've stayed here about five times now and don't stay anywhere else when in Galveston. Will continue to stay as long as the luxury stays up as well as the grounds are kept.
