When we cruise out of Galveston, we find it very convenient to arrive the day before the cruise departs and spend the night in Texas City. We have done this for the last 45 years. This is the first time that we stayed with Baymont and it will not be the last. They were easily accessible and clean and the employees were very friendly. For the price, excellent accommodations. I only concern was the ease of using the wonderful televisions in the room. The place was secure and the morning after breakfast was satisfactory.
Rooms just ok. Elevator did not work for older people that needed, no coffee, juice was just contacted with no water added, went to breakfast and nothing left, things spilt on floor and not cleaned up and helps attitude was very poor. The only one that was helpful was the young boy that was trying to get rooms cleaned by himself. We paid $145.00 for one night there and day before had stayed at Red Roof the night before and only paid 70.00 and that experience was 100% better. We had booked three rooms and all of us agreed on review.
