I would rate my overall stay at The East Brunswick Hilton Hotel a 5/5 = Excellent. This Hotel is like an Oasis of Hospitality starting w/ the Front Desk Staff (in no particular order) Florence, Althea, Ariana, Bankim, Rajesh, Wanda, David, Joe and others. They are all extremely Kind, Pleasant and Professional. Big Shout out to the Restaurant Staff, (again, in no particular order) Breakfast Shift: Nabil, James, Edwardo, Irma, Marie, Juan, and other Chefs behind the Scenes. Food and Service is Outstanding! Dinner Shift: Mina, Irma, Michelle, Rich and again Chefs behind the Scenes. Food and Service Outstanding! Huge Shout out to the Room Service Staff (no particular order): Heidy, Laura, Nora, Yolanda, Maria, Jocelyne, Xiomara, Mabel, Celia, Jackie and Edgar. Also, in Engineering, Kevin, Ricky, Jose, Matias, Allen and Fernando. I would like to highlight that the entire team offered outstanding assistance with my wheelchair and accessibility needs. The room I had was clean and comfortable, bathroom also. Everything well placed. The front desk staff were very helpful. The gym was not large but it had the best ellipticals I have ever used.
Rich at the bar is a great person in the perfect job. Wanda or Wendy or something similar made checking back in very easy and very friendly.

I would highly recommend the Hyatt Ziva to everyone. One of the best vacations I have ever had.

I called two days ahead and spoke with front desk to confirm room and early check in request of 3pm. Arrived at 3pm and was told the room has yet to be attended that unfortunately early check ins are not a guarantee! It was one hour! Normal checking in time is 4pm. Then management Wanda tells me I cannot bring in outside food but they have a food delivery table for drivers to leave food for guests and my mini fridge was stocked with outside groceries from the prior guest. yuck! Either way, she was obviously lying and rude! Long story short, they moved my room to a smaller room for a check in of 3:45! No discount! Then my friend and I proceed into the pool area with covered aluminum (not glass) water bottles and was told drinks are not allowed. Yet, there is a gym in the pool area and the next day was allowed by another staff member to bring coffee in! My mother and I are Nurses and noticed they were having a nursing convention. My mother who is a director of case management and president of the case management organization, will not be recommending this hotel venue for any future conferences! Not pleased in the least. Maybe for the exception of the gentlemen waiter at blossoms who served our buffet breakfast!
