We were pleasantly surprised by the total lack of highway noise, even though Interstate 5 is only about a third of a mile away. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was adequate; the hostess even provided the exact type of tea I wanted, which was a nice touch. The oatmeal was a little on the thin side, but everything else was great. All the staff members were courteous and very friendly. We also got a kick out of the eight cats we spotted during our stay on both April 9th and 16th—it added a fun and unique charm to the experience!
