Hotel had been recently "renovated" it was nothing more than fresh paint that looked like a DIY rookie had done it. The smoke detector in my room was hanging from the ceiling. The door to the room did not shut easily you could see where it was dragging on the door frame. The shower looked as if they simply slapped new panels on the walls and caulked over mold. There was a sign up that said the professional carpet cleaners would only need five minutes, I don't know of any carpet cleaning service that can clean a room in five minutes. This was a Motel experience in a "Hotel" setting.
