A new concept in hotel living, with a loft style, yet all the amenities of an urban hotel. The lobby grabs you with their high open ceilings, colorful pallet used throughout and open seating plan. The aloft offers a refuel center for breakfast and throughout the day. A full service bar which flows out to the open patio which faces one of the most popular streets in Houston-Westheimer. Alofts indoor pool is small, yet provides you with an opportunity to do laps. It opens to the outdoor patio for sun bathing. The fitness center offers more than your regular hotel- towels at your workout station, earplugs, water, cleaning supplies and much more from free weights, balls, workout bench just to name a few. The meeting space is small but packed with hi-tech tools, seats up to 18 classroom style. The rooms continue the loft feel and offer many upgrades, such as 2 comp bottles of water, laptop safe, dispenser shampoo and soap, room service offered by Capital Grill. If you want a little more Steak- Ruth Chris is just steps away from the hotel. Don’t worry if you need to get your shop on- the Galleria Mall is just a block away. Yes it's walkable but if you don’t want to face the Texas heat, complimentary shuttle service is available. If you decide to drive, you may self park or have the valet park you. There is a fee; however, groups receive a special rate. Feeling lofty, give the Aloft Houston Galleria a try.

Due to hurricane the hotel was closed after sending me a text at noon day of check in telling me my room was ready. No other hotels available and had to sleep on friends sofa but was still charged full price for both nights.
