You will find our motel is conveniently located less than five miles from Apache Gold Casino and has so many things to do in the area. The El Rey motel is close to many area attractions including Sleeping Beauty mine, Old Gila County Jail and Theodore Roosevelt Lake. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy being just minutes from recreational opportunities like golfing, fishing, bowling, horseback riding and hiking. A number of entertainment venues, cultural attractions, historic landmarks, retailers, specialty shops, restaurants and cocktail lounges can be found in the area. As you can see in the photos, on our Virtual Tour page, this is a classic motel from the golden days of motoring. Each room has both a number and a name. Each room is individually decorated and some have themes. Stay in our Elvis, Coca-Cola, Hunting or many other themed rooms available at the El Rey Motel. Inside, you will find the walls of our rooms look as if it has been wallpapered, however, if you look closely you will find that we have lovingly hand-painted each wall to create a pleasant and welcoming effect.
