When we come back to Astoria, we will again stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites. The location is good and is in a good area of town. The parking is good and the lot is well lit. The property is clean inside and out. The staff is friendly and helpful. We were there in the winter and we appreciated that the hallways and stairs were warm. We enjoy the river front view. There's a walking path right in front of the Hotel and a pier with a coffee shop, very close by. Bring a white noise machine if the sound of sea lions might bother you. We brought one and it took care of it. We really enjoy Astoria and look forward to coming back!

The staff was friendly. The room was exceptionally neat and clean with a great view, exactly as advertised. I enjoyed a light breakfast both mornings. The hotel is easy to find and close to a nice coffee shop and brew pub. I will definitely stay again.
